Senior C# Developer
About the Role
Naq is looking for C# Developers passionate about delivering high-quality systems that work securely, reliably, and efficiently. You’ll be an essential part of a small team, and while you’ll report to the Head of Engineering, you will be working closely with all levels of the team, including the founders and other departments.
The role will involve
- Coding the backend of the platform in C# (.NET 6), developing APIs for the UI
- A passion for building innovative products in a fast-paced environment
- Working with the larger team to design new product features, finding creative solutions to problems, communicating clearly, and setting expectations to the management team
- Working closely with the UI team to ensure integration to the UI is seamless and efficient
- Working with stakeholders to refine specifications and advise stakeholders on best practices
- Working with the support team to resolve bugs efficiently and within SLAs
This role will start as remote, but Naq is moving to a hybrid form of working. Before the end of the year, we will likely open an office in the London area. However, if the perfect candidate for this role is outside of that area, we will not be geograph-ist!
This is a permanent position.
Your knowledge and experience
- 4 years of professional C# experience building in ASP.NET (Core preferable)
- 4 years of professional C# experience working with WebAPI
- 4 years of professional experience working with relational databases
- Experience working with Cloud hosted environments, AWS preferable (S3, Cognito, IAM, DynamoDB)
- Experience working with non-relation databases (e.g. DynamoDb)
- Experience working with Git SCM
- Experience working with fast-moving teams with a high focus on reliable code
- Good coding practices, patterns, and software design

We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working Senior UI Developer to join our team as we tackle the European and British cybersecurity markets and have a little fun while we’re at it.
While our primary mission is to become Europe’s de facto SME security and compliance solution and protect our customers’ livelihoods, our second priority is to make our team’s time at Naq the highlight of their careers.
